Walworth & Nayh, P.C. is a specialized forensic accounting firm focused on the analysis and quantification of economic damages. We assist attorneys, businesses, and their clients with complex financial matters, including business interruption claims, first-party work loss calculations, economic damages, and litigation support.
Our work combines accounting, financial analysis, research, and critical thinking to help our clients understand and present complex financial information in the context of litigation and other disputes.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience to join our team.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is interested in applying their accounting knowledge in a more analytical and specialized environment. Prior forensic accounting experience is not required. We provide in-house training and professional development to help you build the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field.
The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex financial information. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and develop expertise in forensic accounting, economic damages, and litigation support.

Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing CPA licensure
  • Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • A willingness to learn and develop expertise in forensic accounting
Responsibilities
Depending on the case and level of experience, responsibilities may include:
  • Analyzing financial records, tax returns, general ledgers, payroll records, and other financial information
  • Performing calculations related to economic damages, lost profits, business interruption, and work loss
  • Researching financial, economic, and industry information relevant to individual cases
  • Preparing schedules, exhibits, and supporting documentation for use in litigation
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and other written analyses
  • Reviewing and organizing large volumes of financial and business records
  • Communicating financial findings clearly to attorneys, clients, and other professionals
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the firm on complex and challenging engagements
  • Developing knowledge of forensic accounting methodologies and the application of accounting principles in litigation matters
